Digital Imaging Services

	Digital copies of your research records EPL Archives has an experienced staff and the necessary equipment to provide electronic versions (Adobe PDF format) of paper records held within our facility. This allows original raw data or reports to remain securely in the archives while permitting same day retrieval of vital information. This service has become a common method for quick access to information held within the archives.

			Benefits This service provides an excellent option for the back-up of vital research records. Paper records can be imaged by our staff, freeing your internal resources to perform other imaging and document management tasks. Imaging provides for very rapid access to paper records archived within our facility (final reports, protocols, select study raw data, etc.) by scanning and providing the requested document in a PDF format via e-mail, typically the same day as requested. Digital imaging services can be provided for volumes ranging from individual pages to hundreds of boxes

			Specialized Features The requested records are imaged by one technician and verified to the source document by another technician. Imaged records can be provided by e-mail and/or electronic media (CD, DVD, external hard drive). Color images of graphs, photographs, etc. can also be provided on CD/DVD in common graphics formats. Indexing option provides for imaged documents with hyperlinks and bookmarks for easy navigation.
